OpenCV + Visual Studio 2010 C++ Express

The first step is always the hardest.... First it's Visual Basics, then it's Code Warrior... now is... OpenCV... gosh... I sure hope there is someone who can teach me... nah... I heart self learning shiokness XD

Configure Project Directories

• In 2008
  • Tools -> Options -> Projects and Solutions -> VC++ Directories
• In 2010
  • Project -> OpenCV_Helloworld Properties...Configuration Properties -> VC++ Directories
• Include Directories... add: 'C:\OpenCV2.1\include\opencv;'
• Library Directories... add: 'C:\OpenCV2.1\lib;'
• Source Directories... add: 'C:\OpenCV2.1\src\cv; C:\OpenCV2.1\src\cvaux; C:\OpenCV2.1\src\cxcore; C:\OpenCV2.1\src\highgui; C:\OpenCV2.1\src\ml;'
• Linker -> Input -> Additional Dependencies...
• For Debug Builds.. add: 'cv210d.lib; cxcore210d.lib; highgui210d.lib;'
• For Release Builds.. add: 'cv210.lib; cxcore210.lib; highgui210.lib;'

The linker I include only the Debug builds... however when i compile.. i got an error.... 

"The program can't start because libcxcore200d.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."


Hahaha... solving it now... ~.~


WOHOO !!!! It worked... so... I only used the release builds... deleted the Debug builds and restarted computer.. high five !! =D

Whine: I am half dead

I am here to tell you guys, I am not in a good condition. Another way to see it... I am on zombie mode now...

This semester, i plan to work my self to death... well it's week 2 now... and I am half dead... below is a list of projects/event i participate:

Smartcar Competition  -  Report due on 19 Nov    Competition at 5 Dec << not sure the date but roughly

Variable Baseline Stereovision RnD - phase 1 due at end of November

Student 2010 IEEE Conference - 20 ~ 21 Nov

and some regular assignments.... 

To be honest... I am not doing that well in the smartcar competition... well, I got serious attitude problem and can't work with the people in half of this planet. I will still perform, but not to the extend overlapping others work. I learnt how to respect others work no matter how much I like it. So what I do now is what my teammates told me to do. One command, one action... I do not want to over exert myself in this project. This is how I role, I prioritize my stuff... About this project... I can't share any detail for now due to some group regulation =( but I will leak out all my part... after the competition ^^

Variable baseline stereovision... an interesting topic... will update some summary by stage once completed the research. Stay tuned =D

Student 2010 conference... going to be held in PB Utar in PJ... my role? Driver, ahmad... whatever you call it... gosh... I am damn nervous... One, I do not know the road there and oways jam jam jam... Two... Maybe I need to chat with the participants when driving them to designated destination... You know me... *shy* ~.~

Currently rushing Project Management assignment1 which is a proposal... Our topic is Earthship... 85% finish left some part to clean up... Learnt a lot on green technology.. The world is just awesome eh?

MH - Another Trip to FREESCALE

Went to Freescale factory... again... 

Reason: Busted the main board XD

Kock is the driver for the day, damn shiok, can sleep during whole journey... Can't say it is very enjoyable coz SOMEONE keep complains about his cute hand. Well, got used to it... XD

I expect the trip to be a little long. In the end, it turned out to be just a mere minute. 

Summary: successfully changed the mainboard + free x2 64 bit chip  and Kock has found his new target XD

See? I told ya, I will keep my bloggy short and sweet ^^

After that, went back UTAR meet Dr. Tan... A busy man he is, we waited for an hour... John got impatient and keep saying that he wanna go home ~.~ We picked up a project the title is xxxxx.... I am not going to say more about it here cause I am keeping it a secret (in case can't finish) LOL

The due date is end of November... the first task is an easy one... buy 2 xxxxxx << secret

My first day went a little like this o0o and twist... LOL

This sem I had resolved on boycotting mr kock for no reason XD

YAWN... first day.... First class is Project Management, lecturer let us watch some video. The first video was like... a little too long, even himself keep look at the player countdown see left how long... X)

Then there is a 2 hour break... Had nothing to do after finish emailing Dr. Tan, we went DSA play some chinese chess and ping pong. Damn sweaty we are... XD

Off to Critical Thinking class... This subject is a bit interesting in the sense that there is no quiz and exam ~.~ However, I am still horny to join professional ethic class =(....

Miss let us have some activity and separated us into groups. Maybe it is a good thing that we do not have to work together all the time, can meet some new friends... Most of them are very passionate about this subject, but not me.... Miss gave us some "cute" activities... I sit there like a zombie waiting to go home. Bad study attitude right? Who cares XD

It is very sad for future engineers going to electronics shop and being teased. The dealer tends to ask some basic questions that most of the young engineers could not answer... Among them is the type of capacitors. There are plenty material and types of capacitors, but which 1 suits your need? Perhaps one of my Diploma pieces. The first time I played this, I had a weird feeling, as if I do not need to read the notes to play, I just play using "feel". I admit, it isn't good for the ears but I had fun and it is an amazing feeling. No wonder so many people admire Chopin's work... masterpiece ~.~

8 Batang 2D2N Trip

Went Malacca and Seremban for 2 days and 2 night. The whole trip itself is a tragedy. All 8 dudes went out, without any girls, how sad is that? There is no more other comments about the trip cause I do not want to got raped by the organizer when school starts =x I am happy that we could do something together.

I changed a lot, I am not a easily influenced person but I really got influenced by someone I knew recently. Maybe his/her attitude hits a resonance and opened up my inner personality which locks deep inside of my soul. I finally felt free to do whatever I like w/o caring for others. It's just like being an invisible man without any secrets or walking naked along the beach XD

I do not see the point of doing pointless things cause there is no point in doing so. Got it? I will stuck my middle finger to you if you ever force me ^^

We went there by bus and it was a mere 1 hour mini journey. I do get impatient of waiting inside the bus. Gosh it is boring. People tend to think a lot during journeys like this. I have been thinking, she every week sit bus and come KL meet up with me, sure it is really frustrating and boring. I felt a little pity for her and should had forgiven her. If only she could true to herself from the start and told me everything. Well, forget it, what she did is really overboard and please... do not look back again.

I really had fun, not about the trip but about spending time with you guys. Really thank you a lot for sharing this 2 years and the other 2 years to come.

Another Diploma candidate piece =D Personally, Bach does not need any interpretation, all it needs is clear and detached sound... like the third video... However, the tempo has many variations. The second video says based on research it is an ideal tempo. This is subjective however. Well, guess I will just take the middle tempo, not too fast and not too slow XD

I am not a big fan of this composition until I heard him play that is. This piece is a bit boring to play and it all sounds the same. After seeing him perform, it was like a new window has opened.... haha.... Maybe playing modern pieces need a lot of knowledge and experience on Rubato... With it you can turn any old boring piece to an awesome one ^^

There is always something, kept within me, never spoken or told. That something is my little secret, in fact, I have a lot... It is promises I made nor it is scandalous.. It is just the way I look at stuff. There is always a name list in everyone's heart, and there is always a marker to mark in who is blacklisted or who is in the higher rank. This is very true. I do not talk to people around me or correct them is because I do not want to hurt them, not because I cared bout them, I just do not want him/her to face the reality. And because I am selfish XD

My life is built on rivalry and it kept me going for years. Telling a few white lies would not hurt right? White lies are really something, they hide the truth yet sting a lot once uncovered... "I do not take people's opinion seriously, I take them as a mere reference", for those who followed my blog should know this very well and i kept repeating. And there are many people who do not even take in a little suggestion... Come on... she has a bad taste in everything...

2 of my friends broke up in a relationship, I broke mine up as well. gosh... this year is a sucky year... The first few week of breaking up is hellish, the lyrics of the song "When your're Gone" says it all... haha hear achy achy pain ~.~

Well, it is a good thing to find out that your other half is not suitable for you as earlier as possible. Maybe opposite side felt the same way and do not want to hurt you. It is better to know it before you have kids right? haha.. then it would be toooo late.

At my age, I am not ready for commitment. Even being with her, I do not know how far can I go. It is a waste of time being with her. Why do I even bother taking care of her? It's not my duty, and I regret doing so much for her. I am acting like not myself when with her.

I felt like a loser after breaking up with her. Got really frustrated... I ain't faking with myself, I am achingly hate two-timers... I live in a society full of spannars XD

I can really imagine what my future will be if I am still with her... Yea, you guessed correctly, I would become less awesome! She is my biggest burden...

Mama!! I have dumped my bad habit, I no longer check her profile =D Well, one of the reason is I quited Restaurant City... again LOL another is I do not care, anymore. It is not my life and not my style =D
